Slowly getting out of hand

What started as a small project trying to create a funny youtube series has now grown into something much larger. The lowest threshold to generate your own AI video was relatively low, requiring nothing more than a simple 10 year old PC with a decent graphics card. But then my ADHD kicked in…

At the moment me and my friend Fredrik is hard at work upgrading all the equipment needed to create the very best AI videos possible (on our budget). To get the control and continuity we wanted, the stack is now slowly growing and taking a big toll on my savings account, even if we do our very best to find second-hand bargains.

Intel core i7-11750K with 8 cores and multi-threading
64GB RAM-memory
Nvidia RTX5060ti 16GB graphics card

This would be pretty good for any normal gaming setup, but it seems it is the absolute bare minimum to be able to run video generation with models like WAN2.1 or Minimax H3. We are opting for the latter, which will give us multi-reference capabilities. This way we can add several identity sheets for our characters or objects and they will stay consistent through out the entire video clips.

Ohh, and if you already didnt know what we are working on – it’s www.finalperfectparadise.com – the solarpunk AI sitcom series for Youtube.

But my hope and dream for this is not only to create comedy shows in a drunken state with friends, but to eventually create full-length motion pictures that tell stories about the future I would like to see. But one step at a time…
